Description
An upgrade kit rather than a bare shell: the box adds a screwdriver, mounting screws and a spacer, so a 7mm SSD seats properly in a body sized for 9.5mm drives. Any 2.5-inch SATA drive goes in and presents over USB 3.0.
The rubber outer case and internal shock absorber suit a drive that travels. If you would rather have metal, the Transcend StoreJet USB 3.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure (TS0GSJ25S3) is the aluminium version.
