Description
The case adds three layers of shock protection — a silicone shell, an internal suspension damper and a reinforced frame — and the line has passed the US military transit drop test. That guards the drive against knocks and falls in a bag.
It is still a spinning disk, so it should not be moved mid-write with a head flying over the platter. Where impacts happen while the drive is running, a portable SSD is the honest answer.
