Transcend MTS820S M.2 2280 SATA SSD, SATA III, 120GB–960GB

An M.2 SATA card for machines whose socket predates NVMe, where an NVMe drive will not be detected at all. Confirm the keying before ordering.

Transcend's sheet credits SLC caching and no DRAM buffer, so a long copy falls back to native 3D TLC speed once that cache fills. Production has ended, and capacity stops at 960GB; Transcend M.2 2280 SATA III SSD carries the same interface to 2TB.
