Transcend MTS425S M.2 2242 SATA III SSD, 250GB–2TB

The volume 42mm drive: 3D TLC with an SLC write buffer and no dedicated DRAM, which keeps the price down and is entirely adequate for a boot volume or a laptop that mostly reads.

It stretches to 2TB, well past the rest of the short-format range. If the machine writes large files back to back, Transcend M.2 2242 SATA III SSD with Dram Cache sustains speed better once the buffer is full.
