CUDIMM carries its own clock driver on the module, which is how DDR5 gets past roughly 6400 reliably on a desktop board. Intel's Core Ultra 200S platform drives it natively; AM5 boards currently run CUDIMMs in clock-driver-bypass mode, where the module works but the driver does nothing and the speed drops back.
Check the board's memory support list first; on anything older this is an expensive way to buy ordinary UDIMM speed.
