Description
A desktop drive, and a shingled one: adequate as a second volume for documents, games and media that are written once, poor at anything rewriting continuously.
The usual error is buying a BarraCuda for a NAS or a video recorder. It carries no rotational vibration sensors for a multi-bay enclosure and no surveillance firmware, which is precisely why the Seagate IronWolf 4TB NAS Hard Drive and the Seagate SkyHawk 2TB Surveillance Hard Drive exist.
