Seagate 1TB BarraCuda 3.5" Desktop Internal Hard Drive, SATA 6Gb/s

This is the shingled 1TB BarraCuda, which is the thing to know before ordering: overlapping tracks buy cheap capacity, but rewriting a full drive is slow and rebuilding it inside an array is slower still.

Treat it as bulk storage written once and read often. Where the workload rewrites constantly, the Seagate BarraCuda 1TB Internal Hard Drive HDD 3.5 Inch SATA 6 Gb/s uses conventional recording at the same capacity.
