Description
Type A exists for Sony Alpha and FX bodies, whose dual slots accept either a Type A card or an SD card. It is physically smaller than Type B and will not seat in a Nikon or Canon Type B slot.
VPG400 with a 700MB/s sustained write makes this the Type A choice for demanding internal codecs; the Silver Series is rated VPG200 and costs less. Capacities stay small by Type B standards.
