Description
Sony requires a heatsink on any drive fitted to the PlayStation 5 expansion bay, and this is the T500 with one already bonded on and dimensioned to clear the cover — nothing to source or measure separately.
Inside it is the same DRAM-cached Gen4 drive as the Crucial T500 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. Buy that bare version for a laptop, where this heatsink will not fit.
